If you only scan a few documents each month, I’d stay with the free plan. Premium becomes easier to justify when you need the extra storage, OCR, cloud connections, or document tools.

Is CamScanner Safe on PC?
CamScanner had a security incident in 2019. Kaspersky researchers found a malicious advertising SDK inside a version of the Android application, and the app was temporarily removed from Google Play.
